Welsh international Andrew Crofts joined Albion – for the second time – from Norwich City during the summer of 2012, on a three-year deal. The midfielder first signed for Albion during the summer 2009 and was made club captain by Gus Poyet when he arrived during the following November. Crofts was bought by the Canaries the following summer and helped the Norfolk side win promotion out of the Championship during the 2010/11 season before establishing themselves in the Premier League the following season. Chatham-born Crofts began his career at Gillingham, making his debut at 16-years-old.
Just as Andrew was getting into a bit of form he was hit by injury, but let’s hope he is back soon.
