Craig Mackail-Smith

Nationality: English (although a Scottish International)
Height:5’10” (178 cm)
Weight:12st 3lbs (77.5 kg)

A former youth player with St Albans City, Craig joined Dagenham & Redbridge in 2004. He netted 38 league goals for the then-Conference club prior to a move to Peterborough United in January 2007. During his time at London Road, he twice won promotion to the Championship, most recently last season when he scored in the 3-0 play-off final victory against Huddersfield Town. It capped a tremendous season for the striker, who was named League One Player of the Year, having scored 27 league goals. He joined Albion in July on a four-year deal.

Craig never stops running and terrorising opposition defences. He has struggled to score as freely as he did at Posh, but he has never let the Albion down for commitment and endeavour. He has shown an eye for the spectacular in an albion shirt, with his overhead screamer at Burnley the pick of the bunch. We are all hoping that an extended run with Ulloa will help CMS find the back of the net regularly.
